What a wonderful end to the year! I hope that everyone has a wonderful safe summer. Make sure to have fun, read as a family, and write about the fun things you do. Oh and when you get bored remember those math books with fun problems. See you next year! Love, Ms. Rogers

Our graduating Kinders had a beautiful performance. Thank you to guardians for supporting these wonderful children. We are so proud of all Kindergarten classes this year.

Poetry

The children have been writing poems about objects, finding the rhythm and beat of a familiar poem, and illustrating poems. Many have really enjoyed reading "School Bus" and others have thought of cleaver rhymes that could be added to "Down by the Bay." Each day we think of new ideas to write about.

Insects

Lots and lots of insects! All insects have six legs and three body parts (a head, thorax, and abdomen). Each child thought about where their insect would live, colors to help them survive, and how it would move. These are the insects that took such thoughtfulness to make:

The lemonade stand this week was fun. All the students enjoyed "working" at the lemonade stand. Next week is the last week for the graduation fundraiser.
